goto BNI.com the website has a link where you can find a chapter near you.

We meet once a week . There is ONE person per profession in each chapter.
The great thing with this, any work related to graphic design or website design , the referrals all come to you .

I am listed as a multimedia designer specializing in Web and Graphics.
that way I cornered the referrals for my group and wont get bumped out from another competitor .
The bad thing is, graphic and web designers are dime a dozen so its sometimes hard to get into a chapter.

Modifications can be made in a chapter if you have a solid team of power players formed and want to change your area of coverage in media design so you have another person in the group to compliment and refer clients to you.
this works if you are MAINLY into web develop and want a power player who is mainly into graphic design and would create the front end of your websites.

I think you get the idea of what Im saying but if not, please ask .

I am a member of BNI which is a networking group that has helped me keep independent for 2 years now.
